EGX to host Street Fighter Ranking Tournament

Amazing news for all you Street fighter fans, EGX London has been chosen to host a ranking tournament this September as part of Capcom's Pro Tour.

The Capcom Pro Tour is a year long tournament with some of the worlds greatest fighting game competitors, all of them fighting it out for those crucial ranking points. Out of all the competitors 32 will be selected to go onto the finals on Sunday, then 16 will be selected for the Capcom Cup Finals in San Francisco in December, where one ultimate warrior will be crowned Street Fighter World Champion.

As a ranking event, EGX London will offer all entrants the opportunity to score extremely valuable points in their epic journey to San Francisco.

All entrants within the tournament will be able to sign up on the day ( 27th September ) for FREE, however you must purchase a EGX ticket.

The turnout is expected to be high so to ensure your place, be sure to get down to the fight zone as early as possible to be in with a chance on the Saturday

The event itself is going to have free play machines, casual tournaments and exhibition matches throughout Thursday till Saturday, courtesy of Unequalled Media, and fear not if you cannot make it to EGX this September the action will be streamed live via Unequalled Media's Twitch channel.
