"Why no BlazBlue / King of Fighters / ... ?"

Every time we announce a line up for a tournament we get those kind of questions. "Why is Game X not in the Main Line Up?", "Does Game Y has more players than Game Z?".

And believe us, picking the main events for any tournament is hard. We had an anonymous poll within Arcade Dreams to figure out what we as a team think of the main games to feature at Derby IV. If we could, we would put so many more games on that list. But we can not.
Reasons that factor into our decisions is not only popularity of a game or size of it's player base. We want to have "something for everybody" on the roster. So we try to include games, that cover most of the sub cultures (SF, Retro, Anime, Team-based, 3D, NRS, ...).
Not having a title in this line up does not mean we think less of it or it's community. It's quite the opposite. This is why we worked on a way to give you guys a plattform to still have your game promoted and ran at Derby IV in the form of Derby Densetsu.

Derby Densetsu Games will receive the same level of promotion as any game on the main line up and (if all goes according to plan) will have it's own screen, projector and live stream.

Regarding BlazBlue and King of Fighters XIV, which are the games that the German Community wanted to see on the event - we created Bavaria Burst to have games like that (which we from experience know to struggle to get into the main line up of Dreamolition Derby) be main events and showcase them there.

Please understand that we have to make rough decisions.

Das die TOs von CT nicht im Abstimmungungskanals für EU-TOs auf Discord sind kommt halt erschwerend dazu.

Dreamolition Derby 4 will be part of the Zowie Fighter European Qualifier. Zowie throws in 500€ for the Top 3 of the tournament, a RL2460 screen fro 1st Place as well as a spot and trip to the Finals in Paris.
