mach dir keine sorgen,seitdem letzten test sind 6 monate vergangen,das game hat den content,das gameplay.wird 100% nicht so failen wie ff 14,das hätte ich schon sonst im focus test gemerkt

Lol seh das jetzt zum ersten mal. Allein die Tatsache, dass ich beim anschauen instant an PSO denken muss machts schon interessant.
PSO bleibt halt weiterhin Best Game Ever!! Wer was anderes sagt GTFO :O Werd TERA mal im Auge behalten.

Auch gerade gehört, dass GW2 doch erst 2012 erscheinen wird, das gibt mir ja genug Luft für TERA!

so leuts, soeben wurde der gstar 2010 trailer released. das wort "epic" reicht nicht aus im den trailer zu beschreiben.

auf der gstar 2010 wird tera wieder mit einem GIGANTISCHEM UPDATE spielbar sein.kurz darauf wird die openbeta anfangen, die von 26.11-29.11.2010 gehen wird,danach wird der korea launch stattfinden.

Introduction

Bluehole Studio (TERA’s Korean developer) and NHN (TERA’s Korean publisher) just wrapped up their press conference in Seoul to kick off this week’s G-Star convention. TERA is going to make a huge splash at G-Star, but we wanted to give our community the lowdown on some of the information presented at the event.

We also wanted to remind our fans what Brian Knox wrote on our blog on November 1st: that there may be distinct differences in terminology, game mechanics, and services between the Korean release and En Masse Entertainment’s release of TERA. So take fan info translations with a grain of salt.

Now to the juicy bits:

General Gameplay and Lore

TERA now features a much wider variety of quests

The game story takes the player from a humble Valkyon Federation recruit to the role of hero and savior of the federation–and the world of TERA!

Skill system upgrades include…
- A chain skill system with devastating skill combos
- Approximately 100 additional skills since the last round of testing
- Racial skills that give each race its own flavor and unique advantages

Equipment system upgrades…
- Crafting is now a one-step process
- Normal equipment and crafted items can be enhanced
- Enhancements can unlock further abilities in equipment

OMG PVP!

There are several types of PVP awaiting TERA players:
- Duels, which take place between two consenting players anytime, anywhere
- Deathmatches--free-for-all, or group matches for glory and honor
- Battlegrounds--large-scale group matches where commanding officers direct and influence the battle
- And (of course) player killing on full PVP servers!

PVP rewards vary depending on the type of PVP:
- Guilds earn merit points for battleground matches
- Players earn points and can bet on matches
- Guilds and players can earn political clout on the battlefield

The Guild System

Guilds in TERA include the following features:
- Standard activities like chat, join/quit commands, titles, etc.
- The ability to run for the highest political offices
- Titles that Guildmasters can bestow on members
- Guild housing--available in the three main capital cities (Velika, Allemantheia and Kaiator)
- Guild housing, tiered based on the size, clout and wealth of the guild
- The ability for members to return directly to a guild house from anywhere

The Political System

The political system is designed from the ground-up to be a fun, community experience:
- Provinces have leaders called Vanarchs
- Vanarchs can run for the office of Exarch
- Political power includes adjusting tax rates, instituting in-game rules, and more
- Politicians receive special privileges and equipment such as mounts (much like real life)

ich weis wollte aber gezielte sachen posten

Das Design sieht ja extrem geil aus, aber taugt das Game überhaupt was?
Wenn ich sowas lese wie Instanzen mit NPC`s muss ich gleich an Guild Wars denken und da fand ich das PvE echt nicht aufregend.

Das mit den Npc ist nur wenn du keiner members findest,du kannst natülich ganz normal n gruppe bilden und entern

das game taugt nicht nur sondern ist meiner meinung nach das beste mmo was in ferner zukunft kommen wird bzw. das beste was es bis jetzt gegeben hat

@douki wenn du mehr infos brauchst adde mich mal in msn,da ich tester bin kann ich dir sehr viel bezüglich gameplay durch eigenerfahrung sagen

Das Tera auf der U3 Engine läuft ist ein RIESEN + für das Spiel.
Ich finde immernoch das dies die beste Game-Engine ist die es derzeit gibt.
Auf der Entwickler-Seite ist es wirklich sehr einfach mit ihr zu arbeiten, es gibt haufen Tools mit dem designen von Skills/Maps/Effekten
etc. echt ziehmlich simpel wird.
Auf der End-User Seite bietet sie einfach eine gute Grafik die auch auf älteren PC's einwandfrei läuft, die CryEngine mag besser aussehen
aber ein MMO auf der Engine müsst doch schon sehr runter gedrosselt werden damit es vernümftig läuft.
