Rising Thunder ist ein 2D Fighter für den PC, der das Free to Play Modell verwendet und sich momentan in Alpha befindet. <a href="http://risingthunder.com" class="externalURL" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Auf der offiziellen Homepage</a> kann man sich registrieren und bekommt nach einer Weile (vermutlich ein paar Tage) zu 100% Zugang zum Spiel.<br />
Es spielt sich vom Tempo in etwa wie ein Street Fighter Spiel und scheint sehr auf Fundamentals zu basieren. Der größte Unterschied zu anderen Fighting Games sind die Special Moves: Jeder Charakter hat 3 Special Moves und einen Super, die jeweils mit einem simplen Knopfdruck aktiviert werden. Somit fällt für anfänger also die Lernkurve für QCF Motions etc weg und gelernte Spieler können sich fragen, ob es wirklich ok ist, ein invincible DP auf einem Button zu haben (oder noch krasser: one button 720). Das ganze wird jedoch dadurch ausgeglichen, dass Special Moves Cooldowns haben (quasi wie in Mobas). Combos sind in etwa so wie in SF4 hauptsächlich Links und simple Cancels. Der Netcode ist eine neue Version von GGPO und fühlt sich sehr gut an.<br />
Ich finde, jeder sollte dem Spiel zumindest eine Chance geben.<br />

Punch Planet wird aktuell von drei Amerikanern entwickelt, die das Ziel haben ein kompetitives Kampfspiel zu entwickeln. Beim Design orientieren sie sich an alten Sci-Fi Settings, während das Gameplay sich auch an den alten &quot;Standard&quot;-Kampfspielen orientiert.<br />
Die Entwickler laden öfters Matches auf den Youtube-Kanal hoch oder streamen per Twitch Matches.<br />

Jump Time Cancel -&gt; Dash nach vorn kann in einen Hop gecancelt werden. Kostet 1 von 3 TC Meter.<br />
Absorb Time Cancel -&gt; Parrymechanik. Verlängerte Recovery-Animation wenn man keinen Angriff parriert.<br />

Groove on Fight wurde 1997 fuer das Sega Titan Video released. GoF hat ein 2on2 Tag Team bei dem der Partner gewechselt werden kann und sich im Hintergrund erholen kann. Der Partner kann aber auch in den Screen reinspringen um den Gegner zu treffen. Das Spiel hat ausserdem noch Reflektor, wie er spaeter in Akatsuki verwendet wurde. Das Spiel bietet 11 verschiedene Charactere die sich alle sehr unterschiedlich spielen. Man kann in einem Team 2 unterschiedliche, aber auch 2mal den gleichen Character spielen.<br />

Bei Special moves loesen GA und DA die staerkste Version aus. <br />
<br />
Besonderheiten der Engine sind, dass die Superleiste sich durch treffereinstecken auflaedt bzw. wenn der Gegner attacken blockt. Wenn man einen Super voll hat dann wird man fuer kurze Zeit unverwundbar, eine unblockbare Aura umgibt den Character und man kann sich fuer diese Zeit nicht bewegen. Wenn ein Character ausgeknocked wird, dann laedt sich der Superbalken bis zum Ende auf und man erhaelt einen Super. Ansonsten hat jeder Character Double Jump und einige Charactere haben auch Air Dashes.<br />
